Dan is an old school adventurer and not your average computer geek. Eschewing training for more of the turn up and give it a crack.

- 2004 Half Ironman

- Coast to Coast, running, cycling and kayaking from the West to the East coast of the South Island in New Zealand

- Motorcycled across Mongolia for a month on the world's crappiest motorcycle

- Marathons completed 11: Jerusalem Israel, Moscow Russia, 4x Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch New Zealand, 2x Gold Coast Australia

Cycling:

- Cycled from Singapore to Hanoi through Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam

- Cycled from Dahka to Mumbai via Kathmandu through Bangladesh, Nepal and India

- Competed in Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge with greater distances each time, 160km, 320km, 640km, 1280km
