Transafrika Cycle

This October, Dan and I are going to compete in the inaugural Transafrika which is racing from Beitbridge on the border of Zimbabwe to Camps Bay in Cape Town. We have 3 checkpoints to get through along the way:

- CP1 Piggs Peak, Swazliand
- CP2 Moteng Pass, Lesotho
- CP3 Prince Albert, S.A.

We will have no support and there are no set stages. This means that you start from where you finish the day before. The rules state that we are not allowed any outside help other than what any other competitor can get, so no follow along cars or predetermined rest stops. 

We have a journey of more than 2800km most of it on tarmac.
